Computer games are a completely different problem space.
And again I disagree. They have one thing in common: Motivating users to use the system.
Multiplayer games motivate user to use the system despite being centrally run by companies with the ability to delete accounts at will and making the user pay instead of rewarding him.
Only, for the last two years Steemit isn't motivation users any more. Which is precisely what happens to games who are badly balanced in favour of old user making the entry for new user difficult.
Which I consider SteemIts main problem. The other of course is Churn, old users leaving.
Churn is something both multiplayer games and social media have in common as well.
Currently churn in SteemIt is higher then new users acquired. A death sentence for games and social media alike.
I see quite a lot in common. Because I look from the user experience side. I believe that user experience is more important than profit.
BTW: Everything you say are assertions without prove. It's something you believe in and you present it as it's axiomatic truth. But it's not. Hitchens's razor applies.
