I read that article already but I didn't have anything to say. The problem of course is here:

mostly publications related to tech industry + economy, publications posted mainly by several content creators who are part of this project.

The problem with me delegating my SP is that now the content you like and approve of is upvoted. Which may or may not be the content I like and approve of.

This concentration of SP reduces diversity of thought and/or content.

But there is nothing which can be done. With the lates HF Steemit has decided to go all out boring unified content to be curated by few a high SP accounts.

Cool new ideas is a losing battle on Steemit.

PS: Have you had a look at the stats recently. It seems that the only engagement on the rise are downvotes.
