I'm just as bothered about this heist as well. But I never expected that the exchanges do anything about it.

However I think your reaction is strange. If you don't trust Steem and a broader scale DPoS and alt-coins then the logical step would be to buy bitcoin.

I have just canceled my delegations and will power down as well.
