It is a pleasure to greet and bless you in this beautiful day dear friend and reader brother.
"Not that I have already reached it, or that it is perfect, but I continue to reach that for which I was also imprisoned by Christ Jesus, brothers, as for me, I do not believe that I have attained it, but one thing that I do, and do : forgetting what is left behind, and extending to what is ahead, I press on to the goal, to the prize of the supreme call of God in Christ Jesus "(Philippians 3: 12-14).
How is your spiritual life? Have you thought about that? Have you taken any attitude about it? Regardless of what happened to you today, your story may change from now on. How about starting to write a spiritual story that will affect your whole life? Are we going to learn from the apostle Paul?
Do a self-analysis The apostle Paul made it clear that he was looking at his life and he did that self-analysis: "Not that I have already achieved it, or that it is perfect ...", "as for me, I do not think I have achieved it ... " He was analyzing his own spiritual life, knew very well the level he had already reached and that he had not yet reached full maturity. It's time for you to do a self-analysis. If you need! Look at your life, see the spiritual level that you are in, for that is where you will begin to write your spiritual history. Ideally, you should seek help from an experienced Christian, as it will help you see how much you still need to grow. How about starting today?
Forget about what happened. "... forgetting about the things that are left behind ..." The apostle Paul knew very well what he was talking about. In the past, after persecuting Christians, he ordered them killed; Now, he was a convinced Christian, preacher of the Word. Did you ever think if you were crying, muttering, thinking about how much time had been spent that way?
Your life would be stopped. Dear, you can not get caught up in the things of the past! It does not matter if you were good or bad! Nothing you have done matters more. If you have already asked God for forgiveness, do not let the past continue to hinder your present. There are people who suffer because they hurt someone or because they were hurt one, two, three, ten years ago. If you are theirs, you need spiritual healing, the healing that comes from the Lord. If you want to think about the past, think about good things, things that will cheer you up, make you happy, make you well. The other things should not be remembered and, if they are, they can not affect you. God has forgiven you.
Go! "... and moving towards the ones in front of me ...". Go, go, go on, do not stop! Raise your head, look forward and go to the fight! It is important to know that when you resolve to advance in your spiritual life, the devil does not feel happy. The Bible says that he accuses us, that he wants to swallow, that he throws inflamed darts to reach, but the Bible also says: "If God is for us, who will be against us?". As we move forward, we will have problems, oppositions, tribulations, difficulties, but we have to place our trust in God and everything will turn out well.
Do you remember José? In the case of a person who is not your family, it will not occur to anyone. What life, right? Do you think that Joseph stopped, locked himself in a dark room and said "Oh, cruel life! I want to die?" If he thinks, he is deceived, because during all that time, the Bible says that God was with Joseph and made him prosper Do you know why? Because Joseph continued to advance, marched, did not stop and remained faithful to God, Joseph went through all these problems for thirteen years of his life, but he did not give in. At age thirty, Joseph became the second man. strongest in Egypt.
Only the pharaoh was above him. If you continue to advance, being faithful to God, He will honor you. Advance! Have a goal. "... I continue towards the target ..." Do you want to get to what place? What is your goal or what are your targets? The whites move us. The whites motivate us. The whites stimulate us. If you establish an objective for your spiritual life, you wake up every day and you will have something to do. Your life is going to make sense. You will understand that you are not here by chance.
I want to propose four objectives for your spiritual life:
• Place the kingdom of God first. Leave your particular world aside and place the Kingdom of God first in your life. Live to fulfill the mission that God has given you, stop wasting time with nonsense and place God as the center of your life.
• Try to live a life of holiness. Holiness has to do with God's approach and the expulsion of sin. Many "Christians" are playing with that, but God says that we should be holy in all our way of living.
• Live by faith. "No matter the circumstances ..." Do not get discouraged with what you are seeing or with the pessimistic forecasts. The righteous live by faith. Regardless of what is happening, believe in God, give your problems to Him and victories will come, with certainty.
• Bring hope. Christians are in this world for that: bring hope to those who lost it. The name of hope is Jesus Christ. Yes, that name must be taken to all corners of this world. The world needs to believe that Jesus is the only hope for that world that "is in the evil one".
Do a self-analysis, forget what happened, move forward and have targets. I firmly believe that in that way you will be able to write a beautiful spiritual story and your life will be totally different. God bless you!
