Taking my wife, autistic son and mother-in-law out for a walk and some shopping at a Sunday market in our district.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. For today's post, I'm taking you to experience the vibe of another local market. Sundays are usually impossible for us to go out, but today is a rare and special occasion. After so many years, we are finally taking our autistic son outside. Our autistic son's mood and behavior have improved since yesterday. It's a nice and cool day today with a gentle breeze, and no sunshine. So we tried bringing our autistic son out in public. And it has to be a place close to our home too. My wife and I wanted to take our son to the Sunday market, it is about 5 kilometers away from our home. We haven't visited the Sunday market in roughly six years. The last time we went to this market, my son with autism was still little and we had someone to watch him for us. I would also like to take you to see the atmosphere of the Sunday market. The Sunday market is the second largest outdoor market in our district. This market sells food, vegetables, fruits, other ingredients, footwear, clothing, sundries, and household utensils. Many vendors and people visit this market, including local Thai and other ethnic groups such as Yunnan Chinese, Shan people, and various hill tribes. Besides taking our autistic son for a walk at the market today, we also take my mother-in-law to this market. And we also buy vegetables and fruits we can't grow ourselves, other ingredients, pants, glasses, snacks, and lunch. Our lunch consisted of Yunnan-style noodles and fried chicken.
