HiddenWasp, the latest Linux malware is a very serious problem. In fact, this is much more than a malware since it also includes a rootkit. At its core, you can find a delivery script, a trojan, and a rootkit.
At the base we can find code from the well known and destructive Mirai and the rootkit Azazel. This creates a backdoor that can be used to access the infected machines and is later used by attackers to control these systems.
HiddenWasp seems to have been created very recently and has similarities with tools created by various groups of Chinese hackers.
