"Tell us about a piece of music or song you love, that moves you, and makes you feel deeply. Share the link to the music if you like."
Music
There is absolutely no way in hell I could ever pin down one fave song. My moods dictate that. What kind of day I am having. Sometimes I even listen to talk radio for the hours and hours of drive time every week. Do any of you listen to 10-12 hours a day of music?
So I am gonna reach down in the Pot of Stew that is my Brain after a really rough week at the office. Anyone that knows me is well aware that my office is an eighty thousand pound, 80,000# (lb) / 36287.38 kilo (kg) Prime Mover. Condo Sleeper Semi Truck.
I stream my music and talk radio thru cellular internet connections. Sort of a high speed internet with an average speed of 486kbs 62 mph / 70.811 kmh.
Brain Stew
First let's go over the ingredients needed for this Manwich that is more than a meal. Add long hours at all different times of the day. Staring down a few million way too bright headlights every night. Trying not to get hit by distracted, careless and many times impaired drivers. Way too many years doing it. What you end up with is A Steaming Hot Pot of Brain Stew...
Stirring the Pot
Let me scoop down deep inside my scrambled brains and see what is the first thing that comes out.
Clumsy...
This song and video from Our Lady Peace, a severely under rated Canadian rock band, Pretty much says it all after the kind of week I have just gone through. Not since the unexpected death of my little sister to cancer (Misty R.I.P.) has a horrible life event ripped my guts out, made me feel so helpless, humbled me and made me scream out to beg for mercy.
To me it is a song about self loathing, anger, confusion, and failing someone. That someone is my best friend and co-pilot kitty companion @krazzy-kitty
You see earlier this week I almost killed Samantha Jo thru a mistaken and careless double dose of Flea Meds/Dewormer. I will do a seperate post about her near death and the Toxicosis she went thru. I am thankful but also ashamed of myself. Thankful that She is here beside me now.
You see this weeks events resulted in a whole next level of higher worship of this kitty. I realize all too clearly now what it will feel like when the time comes to say goodbye. I dread it...
Innocent...
She is truely an innocent victim of my careless stupidity.
Right now I am wiping the tears from my eyes to type this. These two songs have that effect on me. And in this moment I can not hold back the tears. So I just need to stop now.
I need a vacation.
I hope the moderator/curator can overlook the fact that I posted two songs? They are both equally important to me right now and have been played AD NAUSEAM by me when I was trying to crawl back from thee abyss in the past.
Thanks For stoppin' by and √'n this post out.
