The ships anchor off the island because its not deep enough to dock anywhere. So passenger boats rotate all day to bring the cruise peeps to the island.
We took a trip around the island in a golf cart. It was fun.
Have you been to Catalina Island? Its actually part of California but doesn't really feel like it.
