My clay sun mask is ready for kiln.

Process of work:
At the beginning it looked really ugly!馃槄

It reminded me on Rick from Rick and Morty 馃槄

Nose too big: 馃槵

I made a lower base separately to give the mask depth and then mounted the sun rays:

I continued scraping and polishing it for a few days:

The drier the clay, the brighter it is.
I used paperclay. It's a clay with paper fibers.
When it's completely dry, it turns almost white.
The mask should be red - orange - gold. I don't know yet whether I will glaze them or paint them with acrylic. I have no idea what to do. I don't like the shiny coating, it looks terrible sometimes and the colors are super expensive! Acrylic doesn't look that great on clay either.
