Neither a beaver nor an otter. This is nutria. Here, in the Czech Republic, in Central Europe, it behaved like a fur animal on farms. But "The Greens" have enforced regulations that have stopped paying off. Some of these South American animals ended up in our nature. And they are doing well here. Nutria compete for food with native species. Right with beavers and otters. Nutria wins.
