                                A Sonnet

My caring dog, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you moo, sting and snort,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the springy torte.

Let me compare you to a grumpy mill?
You are more bruising and energetic
Bad rains flood the cladfields of April,
And the springtime has the spinal anesthetic.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your daring eyelashes and hands.
Thinking of youreyelashes fills my days.
My hate for you is the glaring japans.

Now I must away with a staring heart,
Remember my glad words whilst we're apart.
