The Politician and the Student
Rhyming Couplet Ideas
by kpd
See the barking of the politician,
I think he's angry at the prohibition.
He finds it hard to see the pot,
Overshadowed by the dark aught.
Who is that squealing near the ant?
I think she'd like to eat the desert plant.
She is but a secret student,
Admired as she sits upon a coolant.
Her pleasant car is just an aardvark,
It needs no gas, it runs on sparc.
She's not alone she brings a biscuit,
a pet cat, and lots of brisket.
The cat likes to chase a flower,
Especially one that's in the hour.
The politician shudders at the old owl
He want to leave but she wants the cowl.
