Ode to the Pond
A Sonnet
by kpd
My creepy pond, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you bark, feed and call,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the main recall.
Let me compare you to an old buffet?
You are more random, silly and awesome.
Vain breeze flaps the awsome dancers of May,
And the springtime has the bold vanrossum.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your sheepy humour, style and smile.
Thinking of your sleepy style fills my days.
My hate for you is the freshwater file.
Now I must away with a sweepy heart,
Remember my cold words whilst we're apart.
