The OmniPolar camera is designed to capture its environment in full stereoscopy (think virtual reality) and live, in order to produce high quality 360 degree videos later. Suometry can also calculate depth fields in real time to retrieve them in computer applications of all kinds.
What sets the OmniPolar camera apart from other similar products is that it is both portable and very powerful, capable of capturing and then processing the images it captures in a fraction of a second (25 milliseconds, to be exact). We will soon be able to don a virtual reality headset and transpose live in another place on the planet, virtually, but as if we were there for real.
