All of the snow melted since Christmas and New years but we have a snow day again in Nova Scotia, Canada. Nova Scotian weather is very up and down. I brought a lot of winter gear from Japan but I have not use some of them yet such as skis, snowshoes and heavy boots. I thought Nova Scotia has heavy snow in winter. I misunderstood about Canada. Canada is bigger country than I thought. The weather is very different in between the east, west, central and north. The amount of snow depends on where you are. Our car is just about to be dug out by my husband soon.
クリスマスとお正月の時期は、雪がぜんぶ溶けてなくなりましたが、カナダのノバスコシア州ではまた雪が降りだしました。ノバスコシア州の天候は本当に変化が激しいです。スキー、スノーシュー、真冬の重たいブーツなど冬のギアを日本から持ってきたのですが、まだ使えていない物がけっこうあります。ノバスコシア州の冬はもっと一定して雪が多いと思っていました。カナダの天候を勘違いしていました。カナダは私が予想したよりも、はるかに大きな国でした。西部、中心部、東部と北部ではかなり天候が違います。積雪量は地域によってかなり異なるのですね。これから主人が車の掘り出し作業に取り掛かります。
