“Every Child Matters”
This shocking news was announced just before last weekend about Canadian residential schools. Many of you probably know this news already I guess. I really feel sorry for those children, Indigenous people, family, communities , and everyone who are witnessing this shocking news. Also, I pray for the 215 children to heal from their horrible memories and painful past. Other provinces have started researching about the same issue. Hopefully, justice will help them. RIP.
For the design of the image, I used the color orange which is a symbolic color for Indigenous children, and put 215 victim children’s numbers in a calligraphy style. Nowadays, many people are posting and praying with orange images.
