Finally, I could smell the hint of spring through the wind a couple of days ago. Yet, the snow doesn't completely melt but we lost a lot of snow from our yard. On Sunday, daylight saving time started. However, days are so cold and sometimes it snows. I noticed that my tree was frozen and has icicles like the photo below. Also, chunky ice was sitting on the ground.
I love the summertime clock because I can enjoy a longer evening. After dinner and cleaning up, I still am able to enjoy the sunset on the couch. My dinner time is pretty early so my free time is quite long at night. My dog enjoys the sunset moment as well. Additionally, the time difference between Japan and Nova Scotia is easy to recognize. I hope that spring will come soon.
数日前にやっと春の風のにおいがしました。庭の厚く積もった雪も、まだ完全ではないですがかなりとけてきました。日曜日は夏時間に戻りました。しかし！！またとても寒くて雪もちらほら降る日が続いています。庭の木が下の写真のように凍って、つららができていました。地面には氷の塊もありました。
夏時間は長めの夕方を過ごせるので好きです。夕食と片付けが終わってからも、夕焼けをゆっくり楽しむ時間があります。夕食はわりと早めなので、その分長く夜の自由時間を確保できます。犬も夕日の時間を楽しんでいるようです。それから夏時間は日本とノバスコシアの時差を簡単に換算できるので楽です。春が早く来ますように。
