These chives were planted by the original owners and they said they couldn’t grow food on this part of the land but I noticed these chives. They didn’t chop the flowers so the green part is not thick but tastes very delicious! I hope they will stay for a long time. Chives are very a useful cooking ingredient.
このチャイブ・エゾネギは、元々の家主が植えたもので、この場所の野菜はよく育たなかったと聞いていました。ところが、チャイブが生えていました。花の部分はカットしていなかったようなので、緑の部分が細めですが、味は物凄く良いです。料理にとても役立つ材料なので重宝しています。
