Sage Beach Party! ♥

Hi, everyone! Between trying to stay motivated and trying to actually start doing school stuff I don't enjoy because my prof is so hard to like, I haven't had the motivation to actually do stuff ;w;

But I have been on a drawing spree recently and I actually have been enjoying finishing my non-school-related pieces and I wanted to share it with you guys starting with this one! ♥

I've been posting WIPs of this one for some time now and I finally finished it (a few weeks ago actually...)!

I was actually super happy with how this turned out :> I have been trying to learn hard lights and shadows since I've noticed how my pieces lacked contrast. It's always been my weak point because I'm too afraid to add contrasting colors as they are very difficult to blend. I usually end up with pieces that are waaaay too desaturated ;w; I mean, I'm really trying to get that dark style but desaturating everything is hardly the key to that style >u<

Sage's design is actually very conservative so making a beach-themed Sage was quite challenging. I felt like putting just her in a swimsuit would make her feel uncomfortable already. Soooo, I designed her swimsuit in a way that it's not too revealing by making it a one-piece with some sleeves-ish design :> I also wanted to switch up her hairstyle so I put it in a big bun since her hair is so long.
