Hey, everyone! I don't often get inspired to draw and most of the time when I just wanna draw, I draw portraits in the most basic pose because I really enjoy painting faces! (Everything else could be something basic >u<)
For this one, I made a quick portrait of an agent in Valorant, Jett. As I might have mentioned before, I really want to learn how to communicate shapes better. When I play with hard lights and shadows, I tend to over blend them because I'm not confident with my shapes. I have been watching some of Ross Tran's videos and he really emphasized communicating the shapes. He mentions how you should be able to see the big shapes if you squint So, I have been practicing doing that! :>
This piece is still a little over blended but I think it looks cute and want to share it with you guys! :>
In my later pieces I realized how having a reference for the stuff you find difficult is... well, the key to everything >u< It's so much easier to draw with proper references and I was able to avoid unnecessary self doubt >u<
I don't have WIPs for this one since I did it in one sitting (I was too excited to finish) but I enjoyed making this quite a bit :>
