Island Koh Chang in Thailand

Koh Chang, part of the Mu Koh Chang National Park, is the largest and most popular of the islands in eastern Thailand. Not so long ago the island was almost unknown to tourists. When we got to the island, settled all the issues with the settlement and unpacked the suitcases we finally were able to go out to explore the island. Despite the fact that it was already evening, we had time to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

So, what is worth seeng here you may ask?

First of all, here is Klong Phlu waterfall

One of the most famous and popular in Koh Chang (Koh Chang), due to its proximity to famous beaches. It is located between Baan Khlong Prao and the northern end of Klong Prao beach (Khlong Prao Beach). I advise you to take a swimsuit and go for a drive in the lake near the waterfall. The only thing is that the water is cool and there are small fish that try to touch you. But if you are not scared, then go ahead for emotions.

In translation from Thai Koch Chang means the island of Elephant. The reason for this is not a huge number of elephants, but the shape of the island. But what kind of Thailand without these wonderful animals. On the island there are several elephant farms where you will be offered a walk. A trip is a separate conversation - the feeling that you sit on the shoulders of a two-meter basketball player who has drunk a little.

Around the island stretches a huge archipelago of small islands. We take protection from the sun, a small backpack with provisions, rent a kayak and play all day in explorers ...... I joke, everything has already discovered and investigated before us.
For those one who are not fans to strain the muscles and just enjoy the view there is the opportunity to purchase a boat excursion. The main advice, in bad weather not to go to sea, motion sickness is guaranteed). My wife and I are lucky - the weather was wonderful.

This is an old pirate village where all sightseeing ships are moored. Also here you are able to buy souvenirs. But if you are going to visit BangKok, there is Pratunam market - the biggest open door market in asia.
