Oftentimes, most people flock here on Hive because of the monetization of our ideas. This is indeed an example of a Proof-of-Brain (POB) type of blockchain. Every day, the Hive ecosystem gives a certain number of Hive as a reward pool which will be shared among content creators and curators. The amount of Hive you will receive every day will depend on the amount of Vest you received in your vote and the number of curation rewards you receive will depend on the amount of stake you have and the timing of your voting (maximization of curation rewards).
Well, what we receive is not exactly direct money. They are tokens which are cryptocurrencies, which are given value by people. It may dilute or pump depending on its overall performance in the market and the technology it provides. One thing I like about Hive as a blockchain is that aside from this reward pool, it offers a fee-less in performing transactions. It can be termed as free but you need to have a stake in order to perform operations in the blockchain.
Another important thing being deployed now is the delegation of Resource Credits. As far as I know, RC delegation awards people to perform transactions even though they haven't staked HP or even delegated with HP. We know that Hive Power allows you to perform transactions, but it's not like that. Whenever you stake HP or are delegated HP, you will also receive a proportionate amount of resource credits which you can use to perform operations. This new feature allows users to delegate resource credits without compromising Hive's stake. Users who have 0 Hive power can perform transactions if delegated with resource credits.
In terms of value, the people's demand will dictate the price. I will hold until it has the value I am aiming for. In my opinion, I see that Hive will be valued at around $5 - $20 in years to come and so I believe it is worth the wait. This is the time when it's very best to accumulate Hive as much as I can.
