- OUT WITH THE OLD
This means material items, habits that no longer serve you, and people who only contribute toxic vibes.
Transition to digital when you can. I started using Quickbooks, where I can upload all of my receipts that I've been hoarding for business deductions. I also use Trello for my to-do lists. However, I will always be a paper planner girl.
I am also looking into taking baby steps toward a high quality capsule wardrobe. Check out my pinterest board for this if you want to get inspired to do the same.
- GET IN TOUCH WITH THOSE YOU'D LIKE TO KEEP AROUND
Friends, family, work connections. Send them something to thank them for being part of your 2017 and that you wish to have them be an integral part of your 2018 as well.
- WRITE A DETAILED (EMPHASIS ON "DETAILED") LIST OF GOALS
I have a list of goals that I update at least monthly. If you haven't done this for a while, dust your list off and give it a thoughtful update!
4.UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS PLAN
Take some time to plan out the direction you want to take your business in, as well as a marketing plan. You can build a perfect business, but it's nothing if people don't know it exists.
5.GET HEALTHY
Improve your eating habits (baby steps are ok to avoid falling back into your old ways). Get physical. Being active has so many benefits (better sleep, better self-esteem, and you can eat more haha).
6.PRACTICE THE "ONE-A-DAY" PRINCIPLE
Learned this one from success.com. Strive to impress one person/customer per day or do something impressive each day. If you do one of these, you can relax at the end of the day, knowing it was a productive day.
7.UPDATE YOUR LOOK.
Think about what you feel most confident in, but also the impression you want to make. This year, I'm focusing on building my professional wardrobe back up.
WHAT ARE SOME WAYS YOU ARE PLANNING TO START THE NEW YEAR OFF FOR SUCCESS? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS.
