You've seen it. A person walks into a room, and you can feel the confidence they radiate. You want to be like that person, because they not only have this sense of knowing their true self, but they make everyone around them feel like a somebody.
It took me a while to realize that I am one of a kind. I have talents and quirks that only I have...you do too! Own your true, unique self!
Before I give you the tips that have helped me get to this point, ask yourself, "What are you doing right now to feel more confident?"
Could you be doing more to embrace your true self?
Here are the things i do that have skyrocketed my confidence levels:
- SPEND TIME ALONE
There are many ways you can do this. there is something special about doing things by yourself that people usually do with at least one other person (i.e. going to a movie, going out to eat).
Don't want to go out? You don't have to! There are many activities you can do by your empowered self at home!
I recently moved my office into the closet so I could have my own space to spend time with myself.
- GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.
Don't look back once you do this. Once you start doing things you're not used to doing, it's only natural to want to try and learn even more new things!
- BE GRATEFUL
Perhaps one of the easiest yet most overlooked ways to be confident. Take time to realize what you already have in life. Writing lists of things you're grateful for every. single. day. will start to make you understand just how awesome and accomplished you already are right now!
- FOCUS ON IMPROVING YOUR OWN LIFE.
Helping others is nice, but you can't pour from an empty glass.
- TAKE TIME TO GROOM YOURSELF.
Shaved legs and fleek brows, you know they make you feel different! When you feel good, others will notice! If you're covering up because you haven't allowed yourself time to shave or paint your toes, there's no way you can be your most confident version of yourself!
- ELIMINATE NEGATIVE SPEECH.
You really are what you put out into the world. Shout to the universe what you are, and the universe will respond appropriately!
No negative words, only positive. Tell yourself that you can and you will.
Now get out there and show the world, #GoalDiggers!
