Hello, my name is Konstantin. I'm a data scientist, a software engineer, a researcher and a CS lecturer from time to time.
It seems that Steemit is a nice place to hang out, however for it to be a really great place, we must build a community of technically-minded folks, where we could discussing complex concepts in simple terms, sharing scientific news and technological discussions, arguing about when or if AI will conquer all humans and whether the cure for cancer is already here, etc.
I did find the #science, #technology and #ai tags but I think we need more of it (and I'd be happy if someone could point me to the relevant tags or subcommunities in the comments).
While I'm figuring this out, here is my humble attempt at a first constructive contribution as well. Given that there seems to be a lot of cryptocurrency-related talk here at the moment, I thought that adding technical insight would be appropriate.
