I only took small walks to the office from home and back. It happened because of the uncomfortable weather conditions: frosty days alternated with snowfall, strong winds, and changing weather conditions, creating an unwillingness to go out the door once again. And for almost the last 5 days, due to the almost incessant snowfall, there was absolutely no time for walks. Every evening I had to spend more than an hour cleaning the house territory. The height of the snow cover is about a meter or even more. Sometimes snow removal had to be done even in the morning and evening. The width of the road through the village has become narrow, and this creates a danger when walking along the road, especially during the day, because large dump trucks carry sand from the quarry along this road. This is comparable to strength training in the gym. Friends who follow my posts, do they obviously remember my photos of this species in the summer and autumn? The next photo will be taken in the spring.

Today was an interesting day. At 6 a.m., I saw a clear blue sky and a red-orange stripe in the east. This meant that the snowfall had stopped. But it also meant that the thermometer was reading about -20 degrees Celsius. And the sun shone until 11 o'clock, and then snow fell from the sky again, and the Sun hid behind the clouds. Oh, no, not that! I don't want to see snow, I want to see the Sun! It took about an hour for the Sun to appear again. And this is already a fairly warm Sun, water began to drip from the roof, which means that the snow on the metal roof began to melt. It made me feel happier. But it was in the afternoon, and in the morning I took my little walk to the store to buy milk, bread, and bananas.

During this time, I had to look for a place 2 times to pass large trucks with sand. They start driving at 6 a.m.

There is an abnormally heavy snowfall this year. A news release about Kamchatka showed that people were walking along the road and road signs and traffic lights were under people's feet. I don't live in Kamchatka, but this is the picture I saw this morning while I was standing at the intersection and waiting for the green light.
Well, on Friday, my daughter, son-in-law, and my grandchildren will leave for Moscow. They have been visiting us for almost a month. This imposes a special life rhythm and schedule. Next week, life will return to normal.
