I wrote before how to write a poem. I still felt that was a weird topic and here we are with a similar vibe. It's weird that somehow, those kinds of poem, despite being weird, I felt are one of my bestest works.

My Morning Routine

I woke up at seven, light peeks through,
The room's still dark, the air's still new.
No rush to move, no need to race,
I sat and woke up at my own pace.

I sit up slow, feet touch the floor,
Stretching limbs, my neck felt sore.
A deep long breath, a steady sigh,
As night just left. I say good bye.

Water splashes, clears my sight,
Sleep fades off in morning light.
A mirror glance, brushed my teeth
Did some poses, cute and sweet.

The kettle hums, the coffee brews,
Thoughts begin to form, a little loose.
By eight o’clock, the mind feels wide,
Ideas waking up deep inside.

The clock moves on. It's now eight-thirty.
I still yawn, a sip of coffee.
I read a bit, I jot some lines,
Loose thoughts dancing between times.

I sit to write, my head feels light,
Words start to form, just about right.
Inspired morning, I've got to show'em
It's time to start my little poem.
