I was laid off for about two months and in that time, I got obsessed with a lot of wild hobbies. Have you heard of the Reticulum mesh network? I feel like it's something you'd be in to. I've been doing very basic choose your own adventure websites on there. Mushrooms, gardening, sculpting. It's been great for my mental health.
