Hochkar am Wochenende
Finally I was snowboarding again. For over a month, my friends and planned it. Overall, we were (unfortunately only) one day at Hochkar and a total of 11 people.
Die Anreise war schon ein kleines Abenteuer. Nicht wegen der Organisation wer mit wem fährst, sondern eher die Tatsache das meine Mitfahrer und ich nicht auf der Autobahn fahren wollten. Wir dachten uns es ist besser und schöner auf der Landstrasse zu fahren. Die Aussicht bei der Hinfahrt war schon ein Wahnsinn jedoch war die Strasse auch abenteuerlich. Ich möchte nur mal auf die Fotos verweisen, denn Bilder sprechen mehr als Tausend Worte.
The journey was already a little adventure. Not because of the organization who drives with whom, but rather the fact that my passengers and I did not want to drive on the highway. We thought it was better and more beautiful to drive on the road. The view on the way out was already amazing but the road was also adventurous. I just want to refer to the photos, because pictures speak more than a thousand words.
Nach 2 Stunden und 40 Minuten sind wir endlich angekommen. Vorm Hochkar sind wir kurz im Stau gestanden da es einige Strassenteilnehmer es den Berg nicht direkt hochgeschafft haben. Doch nach dieser kurzen Verzögerung ging es ab auf die Piste.
After 2 hours and 40 minutes we finally arrived. In front of Hochkar we were in a traffic jam for a short time because some street participants did not manage to get the mountain up. But after this short delay, it went off to the slopes.
Einfach der Wahnsinn, schon lange bin ich nicht mehr so glücklich gewesen wie an diesem Tag. Es ist einfach ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl den Berg herunter zu donnern. Leider habe ich keine leere SD Karte gefunden und mit meiner Action Cam ein paar aufnahmen zu machen. Trotzdem sind diese Erlebnis in meinem Gedächtnis gespeichert. Man muss ja nicht alle Erlebnisse digitalisieren und online veröffentlichen. Da es ein Samstag war, sind auch sehr viele Menschen auf der Piste gewesen. Doch ich kann jedem empfehlen mit dem letzten Lift hoch zufahren und einige Zeit zu warten bis man alleine auf der Piste ist. Es ist einfach so schön die Piste für sich alleine zu haben.
Just amazing, for a long time I have not been as happy as on this day. It's just an indescribable feeling to thunder down the mountain. Unfortunately, I have not found a blank SD card and take some action with my action cam. Nevertheless, these experiences are stored in my memory. You do not have to digitize all experiences and publish online. Since it was a Saturday, many people have been on the slopes. But I can recommend to anyone with the last lift up and wait some time to be alone on the slopes. It's just so nice to have the track alone.
Da wir die letzten auf der Piste waren hatten wir auch den Vorteil das wir nicht im Stau stehen mussten als wir den Berg verlassen haben. Es ist immer schön eine freie Strasse zu sehen. Viele Wiener können sich so einen Umstand gar nicht vorstellen.

Since we were the last on the slopes, we also had the advantage that we did not have to stand in a traffic jam when we left the mountain. It is always nice to see a free street. Many Viennese can not imagine such a circumstance.
