There are very few things we can say we completely own, and one of such things is our fingerprint. Fingerprints are human identification markers unique to every individual. This means no two people have the same fingerprint— except identical twins!

Fingerprints aid grasping, meaning they help us hold onto objects.

There are 3 basic types of fingerprints:

Fingerprints are very instrumental in identification of suspects and culprits of murders and other criminal offences.
