I stepped out yesterday around this time and the clouds were painted in soft oranges, pinks, and that deep blue that comes right before full dark. The light was hitting everything just right — the old compound wall, the big tree by the gate, even the white van that’s been parked there forever.
One minute I’m just walking, next thing I’m pulling out my phone like a proper tourist in my own area. 😂 The cell tower in the distance always stands out at this hour, and you can see the smoke from evening cooking fires mixing with the clouds. A couple guys were strolling across the field chatting, kids playing somewhere behind me… just normal life, but the sky made it feel special.
I took a few shots from different angles. The light kept changing so fast — one minute golden, next minute that cool blue taking over. Reminds me why I never get tired of this view, even though I see it almost every day. There’s something peaceful about it, like the day is wrapping up gently and telling you it’s okay to slow down.
What about you? Do you have a favorite spot where the sunset or dusk always hits different? Or do you prefer sunrise people? Drop your pics too if you’ve got any recent ones — I’d love to see!
