¡¡¡Holaaa!!! Esta vez quise variar un poco y hacer algo un poco diferente, tenía esta idea de crear un guardián animal espiritual acompañado a una chica a la que protege.

Tenía varios conceptos en mente de como sería la pose y donde dos me agradaron mucho, siendo la última la que más se asemejaba al lo que quería expresar. Un sentimiento de libertad, paz y protección con una briza que provine de la parte posterior dándole movimiento al cabello y demás elementos en la escena.

Hi there!!! This time I wanted to vary a little and do something a little different, I had this idea of creating a spirit animal guardian accompanied by a girl he protects.

I had several concepts in mind of how the pose would be and two of them pleased me a lot, being the last one the most similar to what I wanted to express. A feeling of freedom, peace and protection with a wind that came from the back giving movement to the hair and other elements in the scene.

Pase de inmediato a pintar en escala de grises la pieza hasta quedar conforme para pasar al siguiente paso del proceso que es el coloreado, usando como siempre los mapas de degradado, además de capas de modo color suave y color, para luego unir las respectivas capas y agregar las luces y sombras extras.

I immediately went on to paint in grayscale the piece until I was satisfied to move to the next step of the process which is the coloring, using as always the gradient maps, plus layers of soft color and color mode, and then merge the respective layers and add the extra lights and shadows.

Ya con la pose lista comencé el boceto sobre esta y para luego pintar con escala de grises. Siempre queriendo mantener la idea original. Para luego ir agregando los colores con varias capas de degradados y capas en modo luz suaves.

Already with the pose ready, I started to sketch on this and then paint with grayscale. Always wanting to keep the original idea. Then I added the colors with several layers of gradients and layers in soft light mode.

En la parte final seguí ajustando y dándole y tono general a la pieza como de un atardecer, además de agregar más luces, los pétalos volando con el viento y luces de un lente de cámara, más la capa de ruido y unos ajustes menores al fondo.

In the final part I continued adjusting and giving the overall tone to the piece as a sunset, plus adding more lights, the petals flying with the wind and lights from a camera lens, plus the noise layer and some minor adjustments to the background.
