I had been trying to come up with something for this "Qurator's Photo Quest | Smoke" all week it was on my mind and had just about given up till last night one of my friends pop around for a chat as we are sitting on the balcony having a beer and my friend has the occasional smoke with his beer where as, I am not a smoker but this is what gave me the idea seeing the smoke raising from the burning cigarette so I garbed one of my stone paper weights asked my mate, I need your cigarette, he said no way your not starting this filthy habit, I said no way bro, just need to photograph the smoke raising from the cigarette obviously he thought, I had one to many beers already, till I explained to him why I was doing this then he was cool about it, so after wasting a couple of cigarette's on him waiting for that right moment for enough smoke and pattern to raise from these cigarette's and about 50 or more photos later, I managed to achieve half a dozen fairly good ones and wala here they are, amazing how a camera can make smoke look so artistic.
I like this first and second photos it reminds me of a Aurora taking place.
