Samuel Adams Black Lager is a German Schwarzbier style beer brewed by Boston Beer Company Samuel Adams in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, United States.
Behind it's nice label with a beer drinking farm boy and the writing “Brewmasters Collection” you will find ar roasted coffee beans aroma with a little bit roasted malt and black coffee taste.
The taste of the Black Lager is mostly sweet, but not too much. The aroma is more hinted at with a coffee bitterness that showed up in the middle and lingered. Black Lager's body is impressively creamy, light-bodied, and soft - perhaps it wasn't world class but worthy of a try, because for an american beer you can enjoy it.
