I decided to hop on the color challenge today. I've been seeing so many beautiful entries, but I've not been inspired to share; until today though. Thanks to the entry by @ellenripley. She shared some pretty amazing photographs depicting green colors.
As a smartphone photographer[before I delved into DLSRs], I was fascinated by nature. And nature is full of greens.
So today, I'll be sharing some green photographs. Most of them were shot on my smartphone, and some of them with a DLSR;
The first and second photographs are my favorite of the pack. And for obvious reasons.
The first photo is of a plantain leaf. We moved into our own apartment in 2012. And we found out that we had excess space behind the house. My dad who is an agriculturist used that as an advantage to plant several fruits and vegetables. So one morning, I woke up, decided to stretch my legs around the compound, and I saw drops of dew on this leaf. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen that morning. I immediately brought my phone out and took a picture. It was pure natural bliss.
I love the second photograph because of the arrangements of the leaves, and the details I was able to capture. I feel some sort of good vibe when I see the photo.
Like the first, I captured this one with my smartphone. But this was located in my house, but along my street. I was taking a walk and I felt like shooting anything. Nature called me first, because I started looking for sunflowers or dandelions I could snap. I didn't find any within the area, so I opted for plain green leaves. I stooped down with my phone and started snapping from different angles. People who were passing by thought I was crazy. Well, I got a crazy photo.
I hope you love greens, and I hope you love the photos.
