Very good article. Just to have a clarity, wanted to ask your opinion.
Regarding " Promotes Autonomy", there is a question, it is true that a support system is necessary for students, but why it has to be teachers only?
In today's digital world, they will be able to find their own support system in whosever they want and get connected to. Not limited to TEACHERS only.

Kids learn to speak native language just by observing others why can't they learn other things by observing ?
Why is there a requirement of teacher, who is teaching a subject which he/she is not even practicing it professionally or personally?
And with the pace at which change is happening, the diversity of subjects are increasing exponentially. Kids might choose to follow a person who is a subject matter expert in the particular topic and also practicing it rather choosing a conventional teacher.
The definition of teacher may be changed in future!
