You can now start Tipping your favorite content creators

Yes, you read correct!
You can now log in to https://peakd.com and tip your favorite content creators fast and easy!

HOW IT WORKS

Tipping your favorite content creators is really simple.
All you have to do is go to this "gift" icon at the bottom of the post and click on it!

A new window will pop up asking you to type the amount of Hive/HBD you want to tip as well as a short message for your favorite content creator.
I decided to tip fellow skater @stickchumpion 2 Hive for his awesome new song and video clip.

The most awesome thing is that if you comment on a post you tipped your username becomes purple and a "gift" icon will be displayed next to your username.

Pretty easy right?

IT'S IMPORTANT TO TIP CONTENT CREATORS

I read a great blog yesterday written by @jongolson ( Link : @jongolson/will-peakd-s-tipping-feature-remove-the-need-for-sites-like-patreon)
and I started thinking about how we could improve and of course boost tipping on Hive.

Upvotes are cool but it's a hit or miss for most smaller content creators so here are some suggestions that in my opinion could secure a content creator a more "stable" income and much more engagement at their content.

Weekly/monthly "Tip" feature (Subscription Model)
Tipping enabled at the comment section
A tool for content creators so they can monetize their audience tips

Just my 2 cents regarding how the Tipping feature could be improved!

It is really important to start moving money around the Hive ecosystem and not only cashing out money. We should start building our own Hive world and not rely on 3rd party services.

I would love to hear your thoughts about it at the comment section bellow and I am sure the @peakd team would love it too.
Community feedback is always important.
