Anyone up for some #GIVEAWAYs or is more introduction needed first ?

The #Galactic-Milieu has been around well over a decade, but it has tended to be a somewhat "under the radar" project.

We were involved in the development of #DeVCoin (#DVC) and thus used their Devtome wiki way back then as a hopefully permanent home for our documentation, earning #DeVCoin for posting articles there.

Nowadays Devtome is read-only, no chance even to correct typos let alone continuing to add more documentation.

We have since created a "quora", https://galacticmilieu.quora.com/ but that is a question and answer site and failed to generate many questions about the Milieu so it would mean asking our own questions and answering them. Nonetheless take a look, there is info there.

Now here I am on HIVE, to which I was forked back when HIVE forked off of STEEM.

So here we go again, hoping our content will be permanent to avoid link-rot when referring to it on web pages and hoping that here we might find responsive interested readers and, dare we hope it, maybe even players.

Part of why I am thinking of a #GIVEAWAY programme here is that players will doubtless be wanting wallets, which currently unfortunately means #HORIZON or #Stellar wallets.

Thus one of the giveaways I am contemplating is to give out random #Galactic-Milieu assets to respondents whose wallet is eligible to receive them. (On Stellar that would mean having a "trust line" set up for each asset you want to be eligible for.)

Because I have been researching #Splinterlands I am aware that some folk have literally thousands of HIVE accounts, which is something one presumably needs to keep in mind when designing a #GIVEAWAY, but this particular idea for one particular form of #GIVEAWAY that I could do should fit fine with that since having thousands of accounts open trust lines would tie up a lot of Stellar Lumens and having a large number of trust lines "in the wild" can actually help an asset's ranking on sites such as Stellar.Expert.

What I am hoping to discover from this initial toe-in-the-water post floating the idea of a #GIVEAWAY programme is whether this community is even ready yet for such things, as it seems quite possible that the #Galactic-Milieu might have to develop quite a large following here before folks here are likely to be responsive to such offerings.
