I have to say i am loving the autopilot on my new Model 3.
I have driven many cars with driver assistance features including all the German luxury brands and nothing comes even close.
I would say that most of the time you can practically blindly trust the system to work on most roads, as long as you do not have to make turns or stop for lights or stop signs.
I drive with autopilot on all roads all the time and there is no other brand that you can do this with.
That said it is far from perfect and very far away from being autonomous. Every trip i have to interrupt and take over. In the end the machine still seems quite stupid and incapable of looking ahead well. That is for another post though
For now i just want to share how much this has changed driving to me and I could never go back.
