The nightmare started many many years ago when I was about to create my own email address. I was lazy so decided to type some random letters as username: "asdasd" which resulted in [email protected].
WHAT A MISTAKE IT WAS!
After a period of time I've spotted some weird emails coming to my inbox. Initially I thought these may be some hackers trying to send me viruses but it was literally tons of them and looked more or less like this:
What a failure! It didn't take too much time to realize these are test emails from app testers and developers. Usually, when they test apps, they are lazy like me and just type [email protected]. I used to receive hundreds of test emails per day - my inbox was flooded!
This is how I paid for my laziness. After this struggle I've finally created a proper email address and using it till today, however, still keeping the old address as sometimes can find some interesting things there:
