EVM is certainly a stricter language to code in.

Hive engine is neat but lacks the constraints / forced formatting which often leads to garbage fucking JSON getting posted which breaks stuff. Sucks to have to harden chain parsing applications against other peoples fuck ups. DCROPS by far is the worst for this.
