Does this mirror or explain why people gravitate towards the "hollow earth theory"? Because I mean I'd sooner entertain the earth is a toroid or hollow over it being one flat plane.. From what I've seen on pictures it appears to be a spheroid to me.. However I've never personally been high enough in elevation to be sure of this.
