Grand Canyon is visited by some 5M people per year. The Wave allows 64 persons per day. And if it rains, those 'lucky' 64 can't even get there and the permit is forfeited

it's only day hiking, without time limits. Overnight stays are possible in the Paria Canyon - Vermilion Cliffs wilderness, outside of Coyote Buttes North

just think of this - during my recent trip I drove 5k km across Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. The 3 former states are all about the size of Poland, only Utah is slightly smaller - about 2/3.
