I drew this card for one contest on Instagram, it was necessary to draw a symbol of the coming New Year.
I drew this picture with markers, then designed a postcard in the editor.

First, drew the contours with pencil.

I took very simple color palette - pink, pink-brown, umber, red, brown, blue.
At first I painted with pink marker the whole piglet.

Then added volume, drew shades with pink-brown. Drew a butterfly and painted over hooves.

Drew eyes, mouth, eyebrows.

Painted a gift, strengthened the shadows and details on the picture.

Since I was planning to add an unusual inscription on a postcard, replacing one letter, I drew a pig nose.

I scanned both images and put them in a postcard. Has issued a cheerful greeting inscription.
My work is ready.
