The Solar Collector is a support building of the Army of the Survivors. Each of the 3 factions has the possibility to operate the energy production independently of the primary oil production.
The solar collector produces little but constant energy. Several of them can operate a smaller base or an outpost independently. this is particularly useful when the primary rust oil is not available.
