El Ciclo sin Fin, es una canción de Disney de 1994 de la película El Rey León tema compuesto por Elton John y la letra por Tim Rice, una de las canciones más memorables sin duda alguna es "El Ciclo sin Fin" la cual posee frases en Zulu, una lengua que es muy expandida en el sur de África.
El Rey León es un clásico que va a perdurar para siempre en la memoria de todos, incluso de las generaciones que vienen. Una de las cosas que más recordamos de la película es su impresionante principio, con ese amanecer en la sabana africana y la famosa canción de "El Ciclo Sin Fin". Sin duda, uno de los momentos más conmovedores de la película es cuando los animales se acercan para conocer a Simba, el próximo rey de la selva. ¿Quién no recuerda a Rafiki levantando al pequeño león ante el grupo de animales emocionados?.
El tema trata del ciclo vital que se da en la naturaleza, en la que todos cumplimos una función y cuando nuestro corazón deja de latir, nuestros cuerpos inertes alimentan otros seres. Nuestra existencia deja huella en las otras personas, todos los buenos sentimientos con los que marcamos a los de nuestro alrededor se mantienen en ellos cuando nosotros no estamos, y así formamos parte de un ciclo que nunca tiene fin.
Esta canción esta tiene un fondo optimista, al principio de todo se dice que cuando un ser nace tiene que saber “mirar” en vez de “ver”, se refiere a que hay que saber encontrar lo bueno de cada momento y luchar por conseguir las metas marcadas, en vez de mantenerse soñando eternamente. Existen muchas cosas positivas en la vida y hay que saber encontrarlas y valorarlas. Sin embargo, no todo es tan sencillo para conseguir la absoluta felicidad, tan ansiada por todos. Como nos cuenta la canción: “hay que aprender todos a convivir”, uno será feliz si consigue un equilibrio consigo mismo y con los que le rodean, si aprende a quererse y a querer.
El Rey León tiene una esencia que supera el límite de la edad: al niño le hace sonreír y al adulto reflexionar.
