Gaita es sinónimo de navidad en la mayoría de los estados venezolanos, pero para el estado donde nació este sabroso ritmo gaita es sinónimo de muchas cosas, de su día a día, de reuniones, de gentilicio, de su esencia pura de lo que es ser un zuliano completamente.

La gaita fue declarada como patrimonio artístico y cultural de Venezuela, y hoy 8 de noviembre se celebra el día del gaitero, y se hace honor a todos esos cantantes que han llevado este ritmo a infinitos lugares.

Pero está fecha fue declarada así, el el año 1983 por el gobernador del estado Zulia Humberto Fernández Auvert en honor y al recuerdo de la muerte del monumental de la gaita Ricardo Aguirre o también conocido como el padre de la gaita.

Así que, celebremos este día con esta sabrosa gaita llamada Algo Sobrenatural del Gran Coquivacoa
