I'm not really into horse racing but this is a Christmas all day family event we go to every year. The kids get to cause mischief with there cousins and eat crap food which is not any dads responsibility :-)
For me, it's the hot food and a few cans of beer. Chatting about what everyones been up to, the usual stuff. Boasting how every year we all look younger, fitter, the new years resolutions no-one attempts after returning home.
As for the big win I need to explain how I select my winning horse. After studying the Courses Race Manual for the day, it takes me less than 5 secs from my horses expertise to find the winner. Gorbachov. With a name like that, how could you not back the horse. It won, nearly got kicked out of our Marque for chanting, "We Love The Russians, Vodka's on me"
