Digital contents have really gained weight as people are now developing a level of appreciation for them. Photographers all over the world all have their individual signatures just like artists; signature in the sense that each digital creator has his own unique touch with his contents to help people distinguish him from other digital contents creators. These digital contents creators always strive to ensure every piece of content they create is of the highest quality and as unique as possible to ensure they get good proceeds from the sales and this is the general aim of content creators, to create contents that people would gladly pay a fortune for and help make them known globally; of course a talented content creator would definitely be known world wide by virtue of the contents he creates.
Content creators get revenue from different ways with the contents they create and a very common trend now is the duplication of really good contents and hence this can lead to content theft and as such content creators now imbibe the laws governing copyright. Copyright is a law that ensures a content isn't copied by someone that isn't the original owner of the content; so what most content creators do now is to sell their contents and hand over every right to that content to the buyers. These buyers would then do what the content creators are unequipped to do themselves.
Creators are really missing out on the benefits of their hard work; when creators create a content the next thing is to try and market that content and generate lots of revenue but most creators do not possess the needful to do that successfully so they try getting their contents up on different content marketplaces where their contents can reach a whole lot of people at the same time and as such content creators get ripped off big time by these market places just because they do not have a lot of options as to how to market and sell their contents.
This system of content marketplaces ripping off content creators just because they do not have a lot of other options must stop as soon as possible. Content creators go though a lot creating a content only to get little revenue from such content and even have to give up their rights to such contents just because they are making use of some marketplaces to market their contents; that's really bad and a solution to this has been created using the blockchain technology. That solution is "Wemark".
Wemark is essentially a distributed marketplace for contents created by content creators. The Wemark Platform makes it possible for content creators to retain all the rights to the contents they create and they even get a say in the price of their contents. The working principle behind the Wemark solution is the use of smart contracts just like the ethereum blockchain.
Thanks to Wemark, content creators now have more say when it comes to their created contents and they get to retain a much higher percentage of the revenue their contents generate. I really do not see the reason anyone would have for not being a member of the Wemark platform. Wemark signifies a revolution to the creation and marketing of digital contents.
