Eventum- Platform for decentralized real-world data feeds
The world has really come a long way when we talk about the creation of data. Nowadays data is being created every second thanks to the internet and technology. Imagine the number of people that access the internet everyday searching or doing one thing or the other, that is a whole lot of data being created on a daily basis and a question can form in our minds as to what happens to the data created; the sad answer is that the data created gets wasted as there are no sufficient means of retrieving the data that is being created hence the data is just that, wasted. A platform has been created to effectively address this data issue and that platform is the "Eventum" platform.
Now, let's take a look at another scenario; imagine the data created by people on a daily basis actually get extracted one way or another and turned into real time API and the data creators get paid for every data created simply for going about their daily activities. The Eventum platform makes this possible.
The imminent problem that Eventum aims at solving is the fact that when people go about their day to day tasks or activities, reading news online or just scrolling through their social media feeds, they create a tremendous amount of data and this data is just wasted as quickly as they are created because there is no system in place to essentially capture the data created convert it to real time API. Thanks to Eventum, data is effectively retrieved as they are being created and converted to real time API; this enables people to get paid for the data created by them and developers finally have the means of getting any data they want at a really reduced rate.
Data Flow Through the Eventum Network.
From the data flow diagram, we can observe that the eventum platform is essentially a bridge between data providers and developers. This bridge is responsible for the transfer of authentic data from data providers to developers and the transfer of the rewards equal to the data provided from developers to data providers.
Eventum Platform would essentially change and improve the utilization of data by developers while ensuring data providers are well incentiviced.
